Refund & cancellation policy.

We want you to use what you pay for. This page explains when you can cancel, when you can request a refund, and how we handle failed payments and chargebacks.

1. Monthly subscriptions

You can cancel your monthly subscription at any time from the billing section of your account dashboard, which opens the Stripe customer portal. Your access to paid features remains active until the end of the current billing period, after which no further charges will be made.

Monthly subscriptions are not refunded pro-rata for the unused portion of the current period, except where mandatory local consumer-protection law provides otherwise.

2. Lifetime purchases — 14-day refund window

Lifetime purchases of GHZ Plus or GHZ Pro are eligible for a full refund within 14 days of the original purchase if the product does not work as described or if you change your mind, provided you have not made substantial use of the paid features (we consider more than 100 transcription requests or extensive use of GHZ Code over multiple days as substantial use).

After this 14-day window, lifetime purchases are non-refundable, except for the specific cases listed in Section 4.

3. How to request a refund

Email billing@ghzcreative.ai from the address associated with your account. Include:

  • your account email,
  • the date of the charge,
  • the Stripe receipt number if you have it,
  • a short reason — it helps us improve.

We aim to confirm receipt within 2 business days and to process approved refunds within 7 business days. The refund is issued to the original payment method through Stripe. Your bank may need a few additional days to credit it.

4. Discretionary refunds

We may issue a partial or full refund outside of the cases above when:

  • an extended service outage prevents you from using a paid feature you had relied on;
  • we permanently discontinue an application included in your plan without offering a replacement of equivalent value;
  • a duplicate charge has been made by mistake;
  • you were charged after we received your cancellation due to a system error on our side.

5. Failed payments

If a monthly renewal payment fails, Stripe will retry the charge over the following days. Your account remains active during this grace period. If we cannot collect after the retry window, your paid features will be downgraded to the free tier until the payment method is updated.

6. Chargebacks

If you have a billing concern, please contact us before initiating a chargeback — most issues can be resolved in a single email. Chargebacks filed without a prior good-faith attempt to contact us may result in the suspension of the related account, in addition to the chargeback fees levied by Stripe.

7. Statutory rights

This policy does not affect any non-waivable rights you have under applicable consumer-protection law in your country of residence. If those rights grant you a longer cooling-off period or broader refund rights than this policy, those rights apply.
